About The Position

Inter Miami CF is seeking an experienced Maintenance HVAC Technician to support stadium and facility operations. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable performance of HVAC systems that support player areas, offices, hospitality spaces, concourses, and event environments. The ideal candidate is a high-level service technician with strong troubleshooting skills in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, capable of maintaining comfort and system reliability during daily operations and high-profile events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial facilities
  • Strong troubleshooting experience in live operating environments
  • Experience with large-scale HVAC systems
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and motors
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Calm under pressure during events
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Professional and safety-focused

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting stadiums, arenas, or large public venues
  • Experience with chillers and cooling tower systems

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system faults and performance issues
  • Service and maintain chillers, package units, air handlers, split systems, and VRF/VRV systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment
  • Inspect and maintain ventilation and exhaust systems
  • Support HVAC operation during games, concerts, and events
  • Respond quickly to HVAC emergencies impacting facility operations
  • Ensure proper temperature and humidity control across facilities
  • Maintain pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and hydronic systems
  • Service motors, fans, belts, filters, and coils
  • Perform system balancing adjustments as needed
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Troubleshoot building automation and control systems
  • Adjust system settings to optimize performance and energy efficiency
  • Work with automation vendors and contractors when necessary
  • Follow OSHA and safety standards
  • Maintain EPA compliance and refrigerant handling procedures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
  • Work with facility maintenance staff and electricians
  • Coordinate repairs and projects with outside contractors
  • Support event operations teams when required
