About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5-7 years of full-time work experience in a related maintenance field
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

Responsibilities

• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines
• Change filters (ASH, fiber hub)
• Make small repairs such as gondola wheels and restroom dispenser repairs
• Patch aisles and roadways
• Perform aisle and roadway striping, both interior and exterior as assigned
• Fabricate and install signs
• Patch or replace plaster or plasterboard and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of the building
• Furnish Industrial Maintenance Repairer with materials, tools, and supplies
• Clean work area, tools, and equipment
• Move furniture
• Dispose of used material (red tag)
• Hang mirror balls/diverters
• Install ceiling tiles
• Perform outdoor tasks including spreading gravel or small landscape jobs
• Assist with kitting process
• Maintain equipment such as scrubbers and walk-behinds
• Other duties as assigned
