About The Position

The Maintenance Helper is responsible for keeping the plant clean while ensuring the proper functioning of the machines. This role involves assisting with the maintenance and servicing of all support equipment and helping with repairs as needed. The Maintenance Helper will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the shop and surrounding areas, as well as performing additional tasks as requested by management, including painting throughout the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to perform basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Ability to work, communicate, and get along with fellow employees.
• Help maintain the daily general neatness and cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and servicing all support equipment and help with repairs if needed.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Keep the shop and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Perform any additional tasks as needed for the benefit of the company as requested by management.
• Paint throughout the facility.
