About The Position

assist with Installing, repairing, replacing, and/or testing electrical components assist with maintaining, repairing, installing, and/or testing electrical motors, generators and other equipment assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment assist with performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial and manufacturing equipment according to company policy; federal, state, and local regulations; repair manuals; factory specifications; and his or her own knowledge of the equipment performing preventative maintenance and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have a valid driver's license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date if placed into in-house maintenance technician role)
  • ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • ability to withstand walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, walking on roofs, and working in heights up to 80 ft
  • willing to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
  • ability to read, write, and solve math problems
  • ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • ability to follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • willingness to work a rotating schedule, which includes some weekends and holidays
  • willingness to work fluctuating shifts including nights, when needed
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • willingness and ability to advance
  • safe work habits
  • self-motivated individual
