About The Position

EIHAB Human Services is a nonprofit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. We focus on respect, compassion, and helping individuals live more independently.

We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Worker to help keep our buildings, equipment, and grounds safe and in good working order. Your work will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and the people we serve.

Requirements

• Experience with general maintenance work
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Willing to respond to emergencies when needed
• Valid driver’s license (if required for travel between sites)

Responsibilities

• Fix and maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Handle basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
• Respond to emergency repair calls (including off-hours when needed)
• Keep things safe by checking for and fixing hazards
• Use tools and equipment safely
• Follow work orders and safety rules
• Attend training as needed
• Be part of a supportive team and follow our mission
