About The Position

The purpose of the Maintenance Helper is to be responsible for keeping the plant clean while assuring proper functioning of the machines. Assist with maintain and service all support equipment and help with repairs if needed. Assist other maintenance person that needs help as needed. Responsible for keeping the shop and around the shop clean and organized. Perform any additional task(s) as needed for the benefit of the company as requested by management. Painting throughout the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Ability to work, communicate and get along with fellow employees.
• Lifting is required, a weight of 25 pounds 50 times per shift.
• Standing and walking are required approximately 8 hours per shift.
• Reaching is required approximately 75 times per shift.
• Stooping is required approximately 50 times per shift for approximately 10 second intervals.
• Overtime is required on occasion.
• Call ins required when needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintain and service all support equipment and help with repairs if needed.
• Assist other maintenance person that needs help as needed.
• Responsible for keeping the shop and around the shop clean and organized.
• Perform any additional task(s) as needed for the benefit of the company as requested by management.
• Painting throughout the facility.
• Help maintain the daily general neatness and cleanliness of the facility.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
