About The Position
The maintenance helper will aid in completion of required preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the site manager/lead and/or designee. In addition, maintenance helper will support janitorial needs as needed, directed by Site Lead.
Requirements
- Entry Level Handyman
- High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent
- One to Three years
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair/replace equipment/requested for building and grounds needs, including but not limited to, touch up and repair painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting, furniture moves, event set ups and tear downs.
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance work as identified by Site Lead.
- Complete any other tasks identified by Site manager/lead, to include supporting the janitorial staff. ( i.e. floor cleanings, deep cleaning classrooms, bathrooms.
