About The Position
Maintenance Specialist Overview: Houston, TX (77015): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a a skilled Maintenance Specialist with strong industrial equipment experience and bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred). This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy industrial forklifts, as well as performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Electrical experience at journeyman level or equivalent
- Must have experience with high voltage systems
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Must be reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel, propane, and electric forklifts
- Perform hydraulic and electrical system repairs (up to 575 VAC)
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using testing tools and manuals
- Maintain spare parts inventory and order necessary supplies
- Follow LOTO procedures and adhere to all safety protocols
- Supervise and guide maintenance helpers when needed
- Be available for on-call emergency maintenance support
