About The Position
Atlantic Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Maintenance professional to manage the engineering and maintenance operations of our hotel located at 6020 Jefferson Dr, Independence, OH. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and employees while maintaining compliance with all brand and federal, state, and local regulatory and inspection requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the interior and exterior of the hotel, including guest rooms, laundry and kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and swimming pools if applicable. In this position, you will execute the hotel's preventive maintenance program goals, ensuring that all tools and equipment are prepared and operational for daily tasks. You will establish and maintain procedures to secure inventory and assets, replenish supplies efficiently, and minimize waste. Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and complaints is essential to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with corporate product managers, engineers, and contractors on renovations and projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. Additionally, you may be responsible for determining security requirements to protect hotel property and managing relationships with third-party security firms. Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments is vital, as is staying informed of maintenance needs and ensuring timely responses to requests from department heads. The role requires interaction with various external contacts, including guests, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
