The OpportunityAs a Maintenance Group Leader, you will play a critical role in our McCalla facility, overseeing maintenance operations that support major global automakers. You won’t just be supervising; you will be leading a technical team to solve complex problems, optimize high-tech robotics, and ensure we maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your ImpactStrategic Leadership: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities across all shifts, mentoring your team to ensure peak performance and technical mastery.Technical Excellence: Lead the charge in troubleshooting advanced PLC systems (Allen Bradley), robotics, and complex electrical/mechanical circuits.Continuous Improvement: Reduce equipment downtime and scrap by implementing world-class preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.Project Oversight: Manage project plans, inventory, and disaster recovery for high-value equipment and tooling.Safety Champion: Serve as a key member of our safety committee, ensuring a secure environment through the Gestamp Health & Safety System (GHSS).

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering/Technology + 3 years of automated manufacturing experience.
  • OR AS in Electronics Technology + 5 years of automated manufacturing experience.
  • OR 7+ years of direct leadership experience in a similar industrial environment.
  • Expertise: Strong expertise/knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC (RSLogix 500/5000), Robotics, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
