About The Position

The Maintenance & Grounds Intern plays a hands‑on role in ensuring our campus remains welcoming, functional, and beautiful for all who serve and visit. This intern supports multiple operational teams and gains experience across facilities care, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, and event setup. Each day brings new and meaningful tasks that directly keep our community running smoothly—perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, problem‑solving, and learning practical, real-world skills in a mission‑driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Helpful (but not required) experience in grounds care, agriculture/farming, lawn or home maintenance, landscaping, or construction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus buildings and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and excellent environment for staff and guests.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, small repairs, and general facilities upkeep.
• Support grounds care, including mowing, trimming, planting, and seasonal landscape maintenance.
• Help set up and take down equipment for campus events and gatherings.
• Participate in occasional custodial tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing shared spaces.
• Adapt to day‑to‑day needs, as responsibilities may vary depending on ongoing campus projects.
