About The Position

The Maintenance & Grounds Department personnel will be responsible for maintaining safe buildings and grounds conditions, by way of adequate operations conducive to a healthy learning environment. If you are interested in this position and meet the requirements, we would like to meet you.

Requirements

General Building Maintenance experience preferred: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Grounds, HVAC, Masonry, etc.
Primary focus in plumbing; experience in residential and commercial preferred
Licensing/Certifications not a requirement
Educational environment experience a plus -not required
Excellent communication skills
Ability to: Lift 50 - 90lbs, stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist, reach, grasp or similar actions for extended periods of time, operate indoors/outdoors, work well in a team environment, work well independently
Reliable during potential emergency situations; Essential Personnel
Trade related Safety Training experience a plus; Lock Out/Tag Out, Slips/Trips/Falls, Ladder Safety, Right to Know/Haz. Comm, Silica Exposure, AHERA, Integrated Pest Management, Fire Safety Systems, Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure, etc.
Driver's license
Current residency in NJ, approved residency waiver, or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment required; Criminal and Employment Background Clearance required
