About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist MG04 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. This role involves a variety of physical activities and working in diverse environmental conditions.

Requirements

Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or equivalent training
Valid driver's license
Basic computer skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

Agricultural milling maintenance experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets
Ensure a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures
Assemble and disassemble equipment, pumps, and hydraulics
Perform housekeeping responsibilities
Operate and maintain mobile equipment
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly
Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold
Work overtime and weekends as needed
Follow instructions and communicate effectively
Work at heights safely
