About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist MG06 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent Training.
One year of electrical experience noted on application or resume.
Experience in agriculture milting maintenance is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to obtain and maintain a PIT Certification.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Nice To Haves

Experience in agriculture milting maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble equipment as required.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic systems, and circuit components.
Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repair.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.
Conduct preventive maintenance on alt equipment
Perform physical tasks such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
Work in varying temperature conditions (hot and cold).
Be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
Follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
