About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, main t aining , and repairing all equipment and company assets while main t aining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. Requires standing for long periods of time. Position requires standing, walking, bending , stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing up and down stairs and ladders above 10 feet. Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team. Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system. Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks. Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management lev els. Current main t e nanc e techs will have first consideration over other applicants. Requirements

Minimum 6 months industrial main t e nanc e experience or be a recent graduate from an industrial main t e nanc e program (Must document experience on application and/or in resume)
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management lev els
