About The Position
This position is responsible for performing as part of a team that maintains and repairs machines in a production setting, including preventive maintenance and identifying solutions to better meet performance goals.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of facility, maintenance and/or automotive mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application of a graduate of an Industrial Maintenance training program.
- Rehire Consideration: Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
Responsibilities
- Set up equipment or machines
- Adjust production machines and related equipment, according to maintenance schedule, manufacturer's service manuals and production tolerances
- Inspect machines and troubleshoot to detect potential malfunctions
- Replace repaired parts or install new parts to restore machine to operating condition
- Lubricate grease fittings and moving parts of machine and other preventive maintenance requirements as directed by supervisors
- Complete Preventive Maintenance and work orders in a timely manner
- Work within safety guidelines at all times
- Other duties as assigned
