About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment and systems within our facility.

Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems and learn equipment-specific training.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to climb ladders, lift over 40 lbs., and work in various climates.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must have 90 days since the last term date.
Not eligible for hire if terminated 3x or more.

Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and rebuild machines, tender/shell belts, butterfly conveyors, skinners, and Sensor X equipment.
Monitor and repair equipment during production, documenting all corrections.
Installation and Monitoring: Assist with new equipment installation.
Monitor equipment drives, HMIs, and computer boards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Repair and Replacement: Fix or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, cylinders, blades, and other components.
Adherence to OSHA standards and safety rules.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel.
