About The Position

The Maintenance position at Woodbury Corporation involves performing general maintenance functions to uphold service and sustainability standards within the hotel. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma and Trade school course work in a related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Rooms Preventative Maintenance Program and keep updated records.
• Respond to all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform duties of a groundskeeper as needed.
• Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition.
• Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
• Be available for after-hours on-call duties and weekends if issues arise.
• Conduct pool and spa chemical testing.
• Perform room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items as required.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures.
• Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and install, replace, and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions as needed.
• Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps and perform preventative maintenance on units.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and Federal codes.
• Work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
