About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by helping maintain a fully functioning fitness facility.

Requirements

• Knowledge in at least 2 of the following: Basic Plumbing, Basic Electrical, Basic Tile work, Basic drywall
• Basic computer proficiency
• A passion for fitness and health
• Upbeat and positive attitude
• Punctuality and reliability is a must
• Trade background preferred, but not necessary
• Strong listener with ability to find work without being directed
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Efficiency with various hand tools and occasionally power tools
• Problem solving skills
• Fixing items between multiple Planet Fitness facilities in Pinellas/Hillsborough county
• Identifying issues that could need preventative maintenance before they become major issues
• Assist more senior maintenance tech with jobs that may require more than one pair of hands
• Maintenance of gym equipment, tanning equipment, hydromassage equipment, toilets, showers, TVs, ceiling tiles
