About The Position

We have a Maintenance Foreman position at our Management Support property with 384 apartment units. Southern Avenue Villas 855 W. Pay rate is now in the range of $ 34.00 - $ 38.00 per hour. We are particularly looking for applicants who are confident that their maintenance skills and personality will yield high productivity. Use your skills more profitably. Applicants with REIT and large company maintenance experience are welcome. This full-time position is 40 hours per week. We presently manage about 13,500 Class A units within 36 properties. Requirements

• Five (5) years experience as maintenance foreman
• HVAC certification
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance and building/apartment maintenance and repair
• Rotating schedule for on-call emergency response
• Lift and carry 30 lb up stairs
• Basic computer and internet skills required
• Current driver's license, with verifiable auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with OneSite Facilities, OpsBuyer, Word, Excel and Outlook a plus
• Bilingual (any language) a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow written policy
• Work under direction of regional asset manager, property supervisor and on-site apartment manager
• Supervise all personnel involved in maintenance and upkeep of property
• Evaluate staff
• Assign and complete service requests
• Purchasing & account for supplies
• Emergency responses
