About The Position

Maintenance Technician, Starting $19.00 hr Full- Time, Various Shifts Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts Click here to learn more about our employee resorts R+L Carriers - Women in Trucking Company Culture The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition for the property. The position includes a variety of light maintenance tasks including caulking, painting, basic electric, plumbing, carpentry and other jobs as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to move around the property in all types of weather conditions
• A significant amount of physical activity such as walking and climbing stairs (often while lifting or carrying items), bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning or lifting is required
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role

Responsibilities

• Inspect property to determine units or systems requiring maintenance or repair and report work needed to Management
• Performs the work schedule on a timely basis, ensuring all elements of the property meet resort standards. This requires prioritizing service requests, establishing daily work schedules for maintenance staff and follow-up on assignments for efficient, thorough completion
• Performs light painting, light carpentry, light plumbing, light electric, preventive maintenance and other jobs as necessary
• Maintains pool chemicals, filters, pumps, and plumbing
• Be available to handle after hours emergency problems as directed by Management
