About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Facility Person at our Pigeon Forge resort location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to below. The responsibilities listed are not on an everyday basis. These are simply duties that may be asked of the employee once hired, and is asked of all employees as teamwork is necessary to ensure the guests' experience is the best that it can be. Requirements

Must be fluent in English, and willing and able to communicate with all guests.
Must be able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Experience in general maintenance duties including drywall repair, painting, changing light switches and receptacles, installing toilets, tile work and general upkeep of the building.
Exterior duties may include emptying trash cans on property, picking up trash around property, trimming bushes, pulling weeds, etc.
Performing the work schedule on a timely basis, ensuring that all elements of the property meet resort standards.
During the busy season, responsibilities may also include helping strip rooms.
Some computer skills are helpful, not necessary; however, the applicant must be willing to learn.
Performing all job duties with minimum disruption to the guests.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and be able to go up and down stairs with a dolly carrying up to 150 lbs.
In the event of an immediate need, the employee must be readily available to be called in to handle certain situations.
