About The Position
The Maintenance Facilities Manager at Momentive Performance Materials Quartz, Inc. plays a crucial role in providing strategic maintenance and engineering support to the Manufacturing organization, specifically for the Richmond Heights, Ohio facility. This position is pivotal in leading reliability activities and driving maintenance excellence principles. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that enhance the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes while executing long-term strategic plans aimed at increasing reliability and achieving cost improvements. The Maintenance Facilities Manager will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance management, and craftsmen to establish a robust system for improving maintenance reliability, ensuring that the facility operates at optimal efficiency. In addition to maintenance strategies, the Maintenance Facilities Manager is tasked with overseeing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance. This includes leading activities that ensure adherence to EHS objectives, standards, and permits. The role involves issuing and supporting Safe Work permitting and pre-task planning activities to facilitate maintenance and contractor work at the site. The Maintenance Facilities Manager will also be responsible for the overall maintenance planning and scheduling for the facility, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed with high quality and efficiency. The position requires strong leadership skills, as the Maintenance Facilities Manager will provide guidance and coaching to direct reports, fostering a culture of planning, responsibility, and accountability to meet overall business goals. The role also involves tracking and reporting site maintenance metrics, identifying trends, and engaging with business leadership regarding site performance. Furthermore, the Maintenance Facilities Manager will manage strategic predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, lubrication analysis, and thermography, to drive operational stability and improve equipment uptime. This position is essential for developing and executing both short- and long-term initiatives that enhance site EHS, quality, cost, and growth objectives, ensuring that Momentive remains a leader in its industry.
