Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering/ Maintenance/ Facilities Maintenance.
  • Rising Senior.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage various tasks and projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of procurement.
  • Knowledge of statics.
  • Familiarity with computer software (mainly Excel, databases, and MS Word).
  • Initiative and eagerness to contribute to projects and tasks.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a functional database system to track preventive maintenance, spare parts, and wear-off components.
  • Create systems and standard operating procedures while working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency while gaining practical skills in system development and maintenance management.
  • Help streamline processes to reduce costs and enhance the availability of production equipment and auxiliary systems.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $22.00-$27.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background.
  • The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August.
  • Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week.
  • Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business.
  • This is a paid internship.
