About The Position

Western Colorado's premier healthcare facility, Valley View Hospital, is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to work in our Facilities Management department as a full-time Maintenance Engineer. This position performs preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment and assists with inspection of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience and skill set in one or more trades required (e.g., drywall, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Clean driver's license is required. Must be insurable by company insurance carrier.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or licensure in one or more trades utilized in maintenance of the facility preferred.
• Previous hospital experience highly preferred.
• Electrical/electrician experience preferred.
• Team player and exceptional customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Assist with inspection of the building, grounds, and equipment.
