The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing all general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed throughout the Casino complex.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must have at least one year of related work experience in mechanics, maintenance, or construction.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must be able to work in high places or confined spaces.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure and technical manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma GED preferred.
Experience in multiple trades such as dry wall, wall coverings, floor tile, carpet, wood flooring, finish woodwork, door installation painting, and touch-up painting.

Responsibilities

Interacts effectively with guests and other Team Members.
Performs excellent customer service at all time.
Performs all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the Casino complex as directed by immediate supervisor.
Conducts preventive maintenance on all equipment, as assigned.
Maintains pool and spa as well as equipment through the training and guidance of certified pool operator.
Supports other Maintenance Engineers, as needed.
Ensures adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
Operates company vehicles, as required.
Performs any reasonable request made by management.
