About The Position

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The position operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as air compressors, generators, motors and steam boilers, air handlers to provide utilities such as heat and power for buildings and industrial processes.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • 2 years Maintenance/engineering experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Informs management of malfuncting equipment.
  • Visually inspects equipment ar periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repairs, adjustment or lubrication.
  • Maintains building by performing repairs and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.
  • Thoroughly performs routine maintenance and cleaning of mechanical rooms and equipment as needed.
