About The Position

Healthcare Realty Trust (NYSE:HR) is a real estate investment trust that owns, manages and develops medical real estate throughout the country. The company is recruiting for an experienced on-site Maintenance Engineer to work in medical office buildings located in Washington state, specifically within the Bellevue Overlake Campus metropolitan area. This role involves performing assigned repairs, building upkeep, and emergency and preventive maintenance, requiring a thorough understanding of various building systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of Five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance
• Thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, package rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches and life safety systems
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be self-sufficient
• Must be a team player
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders

• Licensure or trade certification

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned repairs
• Performs building upkeep duties as needed (periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing as needed)
• Performs emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required
• Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner
• Uses personal computer and smart phone for work order system and email
• Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression
• Be on-call approximately 2-3 times per month
• Travel to buildings within the Bellevue Overlake Campus metropolitan area
