Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal or no supervision and aspart of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
- Passion for camping, outdoor education and youth development.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds, climb, bend, stand for long periods of time, operate mechanical equipment and work in extreme heat and cold environments
- A self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant supervision
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Physically able to move equipment and work across multiple buildings
- A team player who values collaboration and positive culture
- Someone who takes pride in clean, organized, and safe spaces

Responsibilities
- Ensure cabins, kitchens, retreat centers, nature centers, office spaces, and common areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, showers, and common areas to YMCA standards
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, brooms, dust mops, and mops
- Monitor and restock supplies in all buildings
- Move efficiently between multiple buildings across camp property
- Replace air filters and light bulbs as needed
- Assist with minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
- Help maintain plumbing fixtures, sinks, and basic facility systems
- Identify and report repair needs proactively
- Assist with set-up and tear-down of tables, chairs, and equipment for retreats and camp events
- Support kitchen and program areas with facility needs
- Help ensure all spaces are prepared and welcoming before groups arrive
