Responsibilities

• System maintenance and repair: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. This includes troubleshooting and fixing minor issues like leaky pipes, faulty light switches, and broken equipment.
• Emergency response: Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, water leaks, or equipment failures to minimize guest inconvenience and ensure safety.
• Building and grounds upkeep: Handle repairs on walls, paint designated areas, and assist with general upkeep of the hotel's physical structure and grounds.
• Equipment monitoring: Monitor and maintain various hotel equipment, including boilers, chillers, and fire safety systems.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for tracking and planning purposes.
• Safety compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and MSDS requirements.
• Guest interaction: Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner while performing duties, often needing to enter guest rooms.
