ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
Maintain the facility through preventative and corrective general maintenance. General Cleaning & Upkeep: Sweeping, mopping, waxing floors; cleaning restrooms/kitchens; maintaining grounds (landscaping, trash removal). Minor Repairs: Replacing light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles; fixing leaky faucets, clogged drains, door hardware; patching drywall/walls. System Support: Changing HVAC filters; assisting with inspections of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Equipment & Tool Care: Cleaning, maintaining, and safely operating hand/power tools and assigned vehicles. Documentation: Completing work orders, logging time and materials, reporting significant issues to supervisors. Safety Compliance: Following all company safety rules, securing work areas, and identifying hazards Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leaks. Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
