About The Position
Situated atop the scenic bluffs overlooking Santa Monica Beach, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows is just a stone’s throw away from some of Southern California’s best attractions including Santa Monica Pier and its historic carousel as well as Third Street Promenade -- famous for its fine restaurants, live entertainment, movie theatres, shopping, local artists' scene and a weekly farmer’s market. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Requirements
- Maintenance and/or technical background
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience
Responsibilities
- Repairs, maintains and inspects plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes, using hand and power tools, carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tools
- Installs electrical equipment and repairs or replaces wiring and fixtures
- Replaces light bulbs throughout the building
