Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
The Hilton Fairfax is located in Northern Virginia's tree-lined Fair Lakes neighborhood and no more than a half-mile from various retail and dining. The hotel offers 316 well-appointed guest rooms with 9 bespoke meeting rooms and over 10,000 square feet of event spaces. The Hilton Fairfax is looking for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Engineer to join the team. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel’s building, grounds and for the operation of its equipment and mechanical/electrical systems. Key responsibilities include keeping all equipment in good repair, completing maintenance work orders, performing preventive maintenance in guest rooms and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with drywall, general carpentry, painting, basic plumbing
- Must be able to verbally communicate with guests and fellow team members
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as hotel business levels require
