About The Position

Would you like to be responsible for making sure the LEGO manufacturing lines are running while ensuring the optimal levels of reliability and product excellence? Job description The Maintenance Engineer will ensure that the LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality through maintaining equipment (preventative, predictive, corrective maintenance). Duties will include the following: Establish detailed maintenance of work instructions and user documentation by working with internal network and equipment suppliers. Conduct root cause analysis and investigations on equipment failures that significantly affect product quality, equipment up time, and packing capacity. Deep understanding of technical detail platforms/system in machine maintenance and ability to share and implement knowledge to technical team. Responsible for equipment life cycle reliability improvement, research and apply condition-based maintenance, precision maintenance. Guide in spare parts management—engagement in technical specification confirmation, substitution recommendation, etc. Led all roll outs regarding a Global maintenance project. Ensure the compliance of predictive and preventive maintenance activities performed by local maintenance team. Ensure the development of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, creation, and execution of continuous improvement. Must be SAP Super User. – including coordinating and blocking Preventative maintenance schedule. Take ownership for the appropriate integration and/or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its effectiveness. Play your part in our team succeeding The Packaging Engineering Group is responsible for maintaining and upkeeping factory equipment. Works with production to ensure overall equipment is maintained. Handle preventative and predictive maintenance of production equipment to ensure the production lines continue to run efficiently. Your role will ensure the reliability of the LEGO Group’s packing equipment by increasing efficiency, productivity, and reducing the maintenance cost by following the company’s safety and quality standards. Ensure the maintenance systems compliance in packing maintenance area through the LEGO Maintenance Model to achieve the LEGO Group’s standards (SQDC).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, automation engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proficient working experience in maintenance or engineering in a manufacturing facility.
  • Practice in active use of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and quality tools.
  • Practical experience within automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, electronics, or robotics.
  • Experience with reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience with costing and budgeting.
  • Must be able to travel globally.
  • Weekend and off shift working hours may be required during implementation phases.
