Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • This role may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in varying environmental conditions and occasionally lift heavy equipment or materials is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs throughout property.
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, downtime, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the repair and replacement of building components, ensuring the use of proper tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate to source necessary replacement parts and materials.
  • Implement modifications and upgrades to existing systems to improve reliability and performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct safety assessments and implement necessary modifications to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance schedules, challenges, and improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
