About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer performs the duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. This includes but is not limited to preventative, emergency, corrective and routine repairs, in steam pressure systems, hot water systems, electrical, mechanical, hire safety, plumbing and HVAC equipment. Responsibilities also include cleaning, grounds keeping, painting/carpenter, masonry duties as directed to maintain the interior and exterior physical structure of the building

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2nd class boiler license required; or 2nd Class C boilers license within 18 months of hire AND a Special Class license within 90 days of hire required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.
