About The Position

The Electrical Shop Maintenance Engineer is crucial for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves troubleshooting systems, conducting inspections, and providing administrative support. Skilled in blueprint reading, the engineer also handles power distribution tasks, including the installation and maintenance of panel boards and transformers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• 2+ years prior relevant experience preferred.
• Apprenticeship Completion or equivalent technical degree.
• Journeyman Electrician License (NEC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment.
• Complete work orders.
• Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
