Maintenance Engineer Technician
About The Position
Performs general maintenance and preventive maintenance per Hospital policy. General Knowledge of air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, electrical distribution and systems, boiler and boiler water testing/treatment, Life Safety equipment, Oxygen, Medical Air, Nitrogen Systems and Emergency Generator Operator. Performs Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Work Requests as assigned and required reports in timeframe set by Policies & Procedures. Assigned as "On-Call" Mechanic on a rotational basis.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equiv or GED
- 2 Related Experience
- Driver's License (DL) Valid Florida State License
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and repairs throughout the Hospital
- Responsible for building maintenance of all satellite offices to include Palm Harbor Emergency Department
- Cooling Towers Testing and Treatment
- Maintain Water Softener salt levels, maintenance and settings
- General Maintenance, operations and treatment of boilers
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Life Safety Systems
- On a Scheduled basis covers On-Call during off shift for emergency repairs
- Conduct Roundings of all On-Line Equipment to include recording of pressures, temperatures and the understanding of out of parameter readings and whom to report to.
