About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for maintenance work within the property management function. This position is responsible for Facility, Equipment and Energy Maintenance and Administration.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five to eight years related work experience
  • Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software
  • Valid Kansas driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all bank facilities are maintained in the highest of standards in their operation
  • Assist with facility inspections
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance at multiple locations and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
  • Develop a preventative maintenance program for each location; inform Property Manager of any major building related repairs that concern structure, grounds or HVAC
  • Work with other maintenance staff regarding necessary modifications and partner with third party vendors as required
  • Follow proper safety procedures
  • Ensure that necessary tools, equipment and supplies are in good working condition and available for completion of work
  • Order stock or special supplies and equipment as approved by Property Manager
  • Operate vehicles and mobile equipment related to maintenance work, and keep vehicles in good working order
  • Follow approved energy maintenance strategies
  • Monitor time clock settings to optimize schedule
  • Install, maintain, repair and modify equipment and machines to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
  • Identify resource needs, review with appropriate management staff and implement improvements
  • Read and interpret work orders, email requests and supply instructions
  • Update maintenance logs; record and prepare reports of work performed for branches
  • Track invoices and code them for accounting purposes; submit expense form for credit card payments to Property Manager
  • Communicate unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries to supervisor
  • Assist Property Manager in supervising, training, directing and coordinating the activities of the Maintenance Assistant
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, approved activities with other divisions and third party vendors
  • Direct, coordinate and review the work plan for systems maintenance
  • Monitor work flow; review and evaluate existing maintenance, methods and procedures
