About The Position

Imerys is seeking a Maintenance Engineer specializing in Electrical and Automation to improve plant and equipment operating efficiency by providing automation and electrical maintenance support to the plant. The role involves ensuring the operational integrity of equipment, supervising electrical and automation projects, and collaborating with the Production Department to enhance process performance and develop cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• A BS in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Continually improve the operational integrity of the equipment by reviewing failures, PM schedules, and PLC programs to reduce cost and improve production output.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical & automation projects, or potential process improvement projects.
• Ensure the Plant Information system is updated and at its best possible working condition.
• Work closely with the Production Department to perform process performance testing, and develop cost reduction projects, equipment improvement, and methods modifications.
