About The Position

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our club’s facilities. You will be responsible for conducting maintenance and repair tasks, assisting with preventive maintenance activities, and contributing to overall safety and satisfaction of our guests. By maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency in your work, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements

• Previous 1+ years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating effectively.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to handle objects, grasp, turn, and hold items with hands.
• Capability to work on your feet for extended periods, totaling at least 8 hours.
• Fast-paced movements required to navigate various areas within the club.
• Capacity to lift, pull, carry, or move objects weighing at least 40 pounds.
• Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the club’s facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues efficiently.
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments for timely completion of work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Report significant maintenance issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to hotel policies and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
