About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician is a multi-functional technician responsible for maintaining building systems and infrastructure in optimal condition. This role involves performing inspections and repairs across various systems, including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and material handling systems, while also leading and training maintenance team members.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with industrial electrical or facility maintenance.
  • State journeyman electrician license, with a requirement to keep it active during employment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules.
  • Authorization to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
  • Execute equipment inspection and monitoring programs to improve mechanical equipment uptime.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement changes to maintenance and reliability methods to enhance performance.
  • Lead, train, and support maintenance team members to develop their skills.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building electrical systems, HVAC systems, and material handling equipment.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of tools and supplies for building operations.
  • Oversee contractor activities within the building.
  • Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines.
  • Maintain building infrastructure and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure understanding of the Critical Facility Work Authorization process among staff and contractors.
  • Demonstrate proper use and care of tools and instruments.
