Currently hiring for instrumentation technicians to join our team in Richmond, VA. As an instrumentation technicians you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial environment. Pay begins at $30 - $34 per hour based on skill set and experience level. If you have at least 5 years as a instrumentation technicians apply now! Instrumentation Technician Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment daily to ensure optimal operation Troubleshoot, install, and maintain electrical control systems and PLCs Install new or refurbished machine components and rebuild failed parts Assist with the setup and commissioning of new systems and equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and manufacturer specifications Keep an accurate inventory of parts and maintain a clean work area Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, mobile equipment, PLC networks, etc. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems of pumps, motors, cranes, and other hydraulic/pneumatic systems as needed Install and maintain electronically controlled equipment, including control panels and automated systems Balance loads and wire complex circuits, utilizing diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Monitor equipment performance, identify abnormalities, and ensure systems operate within specifications Troubleshoot high-voltage systems (up to 480V) and electrical drives Keep an accurate record of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage
