About The Position

Maintenance Electrician| Grottoes, VA| Hiring Immediately Compensation: Starting pay rate is a $31.09 - paid weekly! Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity Available Shift: 7:00AM-7:00 PM/7:00 PM-7:00 AM (2x2x3)(will rotate quarterly from days to nights) TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX)

Requirements

1 year experience as an Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician, or 2 years trade/technical school in a related field, or 4 years Industrial/Manufacturing experience with electrical knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Work alone, with a skilled tradesperson, or operations personnel.
Work in a team environment.
Work with limited supervision.
Able to stand for long periods, climb, kneel, squat, and crawl.
Lift and carry materials and equipment of up to 75 lbs.
Work flexible hours and Overtime as needed.
Electrical equipment and instrumentation or controls.
AC & DC motors, motor controls, and MCCs.
Electrical distribution and related equipment.
AC variable frequency drives/DC variable speed drives.
Programmable Logic Controllers and automated equipment.
General Industrial or Manufacturing standards & practices, including OSHA.

Responsibilities

Perform all assigned Electrical duties safely and cost-effectively.
Execute Work orders, minimize downtime by providing fast, accurate troubleshooting, repair, inspection, maintenance, service, calibration, installation, and configuration for related manufacturing and production equipment.
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and managers.
Maintain necessary records and documents of work performed.
Troubleshoot PLC hardware
Operate electrical test equipment and interpret results
Read, understand, and make use of associated drawings, schematics, diagrams, etc.
Prepare accurate documentation.
Understand, interpret, and apply the National Electrical Code - NEC
Plan, organize, and prioritize work activities and duties
Multitask and work under pressure
Work flexible hours
