MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

About The Position

Troubleshoot and repair automated and manual machines. The candidate will also have to be able to perform major machine repairs and rebuilds. It is preferred that the employee provide their own tools but is not required. These tasks include and are not limited to: Electrical Systems Electronics CNC Controls PLC Logic Mechanical Pneumatics Hydraulics Welding (MIG, TIG, ARC, This is not required but definitely a plus.)

Requirements

Maintenance Electrician requires skills in wiring, electrical systems, electronics, PLC logic, CNC machines, grinding machines, forging equipment, overhead bridge cranes, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Minimum of 2 years' related experience.
This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of machines (with and without automation controls) and complying with OSHA, NFPA and all other applicable safety programs.
The candidate is responsible for their own tool. Computer with PLC software will be provided.
Must be able to work stationary for long periods of time.
Must be able carry weight, left; Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove up to 50 – 70 pounds.
Must be able to withstand indoor low and high temperatures.
Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle or feel; Operate Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, or Position.
Must be able to climb (stairs/ladder) or balance; Ascend/Descend, Work atop and Traverse
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; position self (to), move.
Must be able to talk/hear; Communicate, Detect, Converse with Discern, Convey, Express Oneself, Exchange Information.
Must be able to see; Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, assess.
Must be able to be exposed to work conditions indoor/outdoor extreme cold and extreme heat.
High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Welding (MIG, TIG, ARC, This is not required but definitely a plus.)
Preferred experience working with electrical systems or electrical wiring.
Electrician License Preferred
