The Maintenance Electrician at Cytiva responsibilities include the design, planning, construction, safety and maintenance of building infrastructure or manufacturing/production equipment and systems. May be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation and enhancement of machinery and mechanical equipment. Mechanical responsibilities may apply to equipment, machinery, electrical, plumbing, and / or HVAC. May manage coordination and modification of building space - space design standards, allocation, modifications, moves and expansion. May conduct facility inspections and/or equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, including repair work and replacements / capital improvements. This position is part of the Facilities team located in Westborough, MA and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Facility/Manufacturing Equipment Technician in a regulated environment such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience operating, monitoring, or maintaining a Building Management System for a controlled environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively with peers at various levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel amongst sites. Westborough, 95% / Shrewsbury, 5%
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Facilities/Maintenance certification or trade certification preferred.
• State license in requisite trades preferred.
• Grade 2 Wastewater Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds of plant utilities, monitor BMS and ensure all equipment is operating and maintained per Cytiva guidelines.
• Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building utilities, completing assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Investigate equipment electrical failures and perform repairs, including loss of electrical power and other building disruptions.
