About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the facility’s mechanical and electrical production equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The employee may also perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Requirements

Previous experience working as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Technical or military training, apprenticeship experience, or an AS/BS degree in a field related to mechanical or electrical technology, maintenance, or engineering
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and flexibility to work any shift, holidays, and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

Welding and fabrication experience preferred

Responsibilities

Learn and utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), including asset management, inventory control, and work order tracking
Perform facility maintenance to help ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment for all employees
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues using a multimeter/ammeter, including replacing components such as PCBs, sensors, switches, motors, PLC hardware, fuses, and heating elements
Use equipment manuals, drawings, and diagrams to diagnose issues and complete repairs accurately
Fabricate or modify parts and components using tools such as a lathe, milling machine, drill press, and related equipment
Use calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
Support manufacturing and operations teams as needed to keep production running smoothly
Maintain a strong focus on safety and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
