About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician position at ManpowerGroup involves performing electrical and mechanical repairs on production machinery for a food manufacturing facility. The role requires a combination of technical skills to ensure the efficient operation of plant equipment and systems.

Requirements

• Electrical and mechanical skills in repairing production machinery.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of boiler operations and troubleshooting steam generation issues.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments or repairs on all plant equipment as needed.
• Complete basic repairs to pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyance systems, air compressors, and Mac valves.
• Understand functionality and adjust and repair solenoid switches, hydraulic cylinders, gear boxes, and pumps or any related pumping devices.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment.
• Make electrical repairs to all electric-driven machinery and micro switches.
• Perform general maintenance duties related to plant equipment and building.
• Understand boiler operations/water towers and troubleshoot problems related to steam generation and care for boilers and water towers.
• Use hand tools, lathers, drill presses, saws, welding equipment, and calibration equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Complete assigned work orders by their required due dates.
• Perform necessary repairs or preventative maintenance on all industrial equipment.
• Perform any and all duties as directed by supervision.
