About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of automated equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to operate necessary machinery such as fork trucks and aerial lifts. The position involves working on multiple shifts and requires a commitment to working 6-7 days a week for the first 90 days of employment.

Requirements

  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair up to 480v.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLCs, Omron, Siemens, and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including sensors, photo eyes, conveyors, robots, fuses, relays, power supplies, control panels, wiring, servos, drives, motors, and other automated equipment.
  • Operate fork trucks, aerial lifts, and carry decks as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment up to 480v.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Work with PLCs, Omron, Siemens, and welding.
