Intermate level electrician with experience related to commercial buildings. This includes but not limited to: This includes Electrical Sub Panels/Motor Control Centers/Distribution Panels Knowledge of state and local code requirements, wire sizing, color coding. Installation, troubleshooting and repair of 120/208/277/480V branch circuits, lighting, lighting control systems and devices, sub panels, motors, motor control devices, distribution panels Ability to read commercial building blueprints, electrical control schematics, single line diagrams. Should have experience with a wide verity of wiring methods and their appropriate applications. Must have working knowledge of NFPA 70E. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs routine equipment repairs and installation of office equipment/fixtures including doors and frames, replacing toilets, changing out pumps and motors in the central plant. Responsible for repair or alteration of structures such as walls and roofs. Conducts periodic and scheduled inspections of the premises to determine necessary repair work. Works from rough sketches and drawings to install corkboards, whiteboards, shelves, electrical outlets, light fixtures, etc. Interfaces with supply houses, receives, and negotiates quotes from vendors and determines what supplies to order. Trains, assists, and provides direction to lower level Maintenance Technicians. Employee may be required to drive company vehicle or personal vehicle between buildings as required. May be responsible to perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision. Candidate will be required to assist with other maintenance activities as needed. Candidate will be required to drive personal vehicle from building to building to complete daily tasks.
